Offset Printing

Offset Printing Press in Gurgaon

Offset printing is a professional printing process used to produce high-quality prints in large volumes. The ink is first applied to metal plates, then transferred to rubber blankets, and finally pressed onto paper or other media. These plates are created using advanced methods like CTP (Computer to Plate) or positive films.  During printing, rollers apply ink to the plates. The plates then pass the ink onto a rubber blanket, which ensures the final print comes out clean and sharp on the sheet. Because this is a technical process, offset printing is always handled by skilled operators and not by untrained personnel. One of the biggest advantages of offset printing is speed. The machines can print anywhere from 3,000 to 15,000 sheets per hour, making them ideal for bulk production. These machines are quite large and require more space compared to digital printers. Offset printing has its roots in lithography, which is why it is also often called Litho Offset Printing.

Which Colors Can Be Printed Using Offset Printing?

Offset printing can produce almost any color. Most commonly, it uses the CMYK color model (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black), which allows us to create a wide range of colors and vibrant full-color images. At Insta Print & Advertise, we also specialize in Pantone shades and metallic colors, which are difficult to achieve with digital printing. This gives you greater flexibility and premium print quality for special projects.
